Course Overview

The Ladder and Stepladder Awareness course is aimed at delegates who use ladders and stepladders as part of their work duties. It will give delegates an understanding of the laws and standards relating to ladders and stepladders and how these may effect their role.

Who should attend?

Those who are frequent users of ladders & stepladders in the course of their daily duties. There are no prerequisites to this course.

Delegates will be competent to:

Assess and determine when it is appropriate to use ladders & step ladders
Correctly locate and safely use ladders and step ladders
Visually inspect ladders and step ladders for damage BEFORE and AFTER use.
