Scaffold Awareness

Overview

On completion of the course, attendees shall have up-to-date knowledge of how to safely observe and control scaffolding operations.

Who Should Attend?

Manager, Supervisors, Operatives, Site Agents, who need to have scaffolding knowledge for their own safety and for the safety of others on site.

Training Method:

Theory with discussion. Power Point presentation. Practical demonstration.

Course Materials:

Provided by tutor.

Attendee Requirements:

There are no set entry requirements for this qualification. However, attendees must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.

Assessment:

Continuously assessed through a range of discussion and practical exercises throughout entire course. Examination at conclusion.

Scaffolders safe working practices including safe use of harnesses to SG4
Handover certificates
Scaffold Inspections
Scaffold tagging systems
Test Paper (Theory)

Certification

A Training Provider Certificate of Training will be issued to all those who complete the course to a satisfactory standard.
