During the course, delegates will learn to:

• Understand the role, purpose and key responsibilities of a Temporary Works Supervisor


• Recognise the roles and responsibilities of others involved in temporary works


• Apply the principles of BS 5975:2019 to the supervisor role


• Identify and manage risk effectively during temporary works activities


• Support the implementation of the contractor’s temporary works procedures

Completion of this course demonstrates competency and understanding of the principles of safe temporary works supervision, in line with BS 5975:2019.

Successful delegates will receive a CITB Temporary Works Supervisor certificate, valid for five years.

To remain qualified, delegates must retake the course before their certificate expires.
