How long does my certificate take to arrive?

Certificates are normally processed with 28 working days, some awarding bodies, like Highfield / City & Guilds, may take longer.

Will my certificate go to me or my employer?

The certificate will go to the person who booked the course.

What time does my course start & finish?

Your booking confirmation includes timings on the Joining Instructions which includes what you need to bring on the day. If your employer booked this for you, please ask them for these details.

Is Parking available?

Yes, parking is available at all our Training Centres, please refer to joining instructions for more information.

Is Food/Beverages provided?

No food is provided. Refreshments will be available during breaktimes.

Can I cancel / Move my course?

Please contact us as soon as you know you will not be able to attend as the quicker you advise us the better. However, cost may be incurred depending on the changes being made.

Name changes are free of charge. Please advised of any changes before the start of the course.

How do I book a course?

If the course you require is available on our website you can book this here and all joining instructions will be then emailed over to yourself, or you can email the booking team on training@onestopsafetytraining.com who can make the booking for you.

What do I need to bring for my course?

Your Joining Instructions will provide the information on what you are required to bring to your course. This may include PPE such as safety boots, a hard hat or gloves, depending on the type of course you’re attending. Some courses may also require photo ID.

Please ensure you read these prior to attending to make sure you are prepared for your training.

I struggle with reading or writing; how can you help?

Please let us know as soon as possible so we can make suitable arrangements to support your needs.

If you require any reasonable adjustments, speak to a member of our team who will be happy to help. Some courses may be complex, so early notification is essential to ensure we can accommodate your requirements effectively.

Can I bring a translator?

We’re often asked whether translators can attend our courses. While some awarding bodies have specific rules regarding the use of translators, we do allow impartial translators on some of our courses and will do our best to accommodate your needs wherever possible.

If you would like to bring a translator with you, please contact a member of our team on 0808 168 6788 to discuss this further.

Can I have a test paper in a different language?

We understand that language can sometimes be a barrier. While some awarding bodies allow test papers to be provided in different languages, this depends on the specific course and qualification.

If you require a translated test paper, please contact our team as early as possible on 0808 168 6788, so we can check the options available and make the necessary arrangements where possible.

What if I can’t find the specific course I need?

Is training onsite or at my premise available?

Yes – in many cases, we can deliver training directly at your premises. If you would prefer onsite training, please get in touch with our team to discuss your requirements and check availability. We'll do our best to accommodate your request wherever possible.

Can I do IPAF all 3 Categories in one day? (Mobile Scissor 3a, Mobile Boom 3b & Static Boom 1b)

Are weekend courses available?

Yes – we offer a range of courses over the weekend, and many of our open courses are scheduled accordingly. You can view current availability on our website.

How do I pay for my course?

All courses must be paid for prior to the start of the course.
