This Fire Marshal training course is designed for employees who are designated Fire Marshals. It provides delegates with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfil the requirements of managing fire safety within the workplace.
The course covers essential elements of fire prevention and the use of firefighting equipment, including fire extinguishers.

By the end of the course, delegates will have covered the following topics:
- The role of the Fire Marshal and responsibilities
- Basic fire safety legislation requirements
- The fire routine in the workplace
- Evacuating personnel during an emergency
- Identifying assembly areas and head count procedures
- Reporting missing personnel during evacuations
- Basic principles of fire prevention
- The theory of fire and its spread through buildings
- Active fire prevention defences
- Different types and use of firefighting equipment such as fire extinguishers
- The basic principles of risk assessment in fire safety
- A practical session involving a tour of the working environment to spot fire hazards, raise awareness of evacuation routes and identify fire escapes
On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a C&C Training Certificate of Attendance, recognising their competency in fire marshal responsibilities and fire safety management.
