Course Overview
This qualification provides delegates with the knowledge and practical skills to carry out the inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations. It covers both initial verification and periodic inspection, enabling learners to demonstrate competence in testing new installations and assessing existing ones against current standards.

Safe isolation of electrical circuits and installations
Initial verification of electrical installations
Inspection of electrical installations prior to service
Testing before energising circuits and testing energised installations
Safe testing and commissioning procedures
Commissioning electrotechnical systems and equipment
Completion of electrical installation certificates and related documentation
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and supporting documents

Interpreting test results accurately
