Course Overview
The IPAF Demonstrator Course is designed for individuals responsible for introducing trained operators to the safe use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) within IPAF categories 3A (mobile vertical lifts, such as scissor lifts) and 3B (mobile boom lifts, such as cherry pickers).
Unlike an operator course, this programme focuses on developing the knowledge and practical skills required to safely demonstrate MEWP operation, conduct basic pre-use inspections, and communicate essential operating procedures to authorised users.
This course is ideal for those who regularly demonstrate MEWPs to colleagues, contractors, or site visitors, helping to promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with IPAF guidance and relevant health and safety legislation.
